I first saw Matt Weinberg in Touched by an Angel, in which he was very good, and then almost two years later in Freaky Links
- a GREAT performance and well worth the long wait to see him again! Knowing
that the Weinberg brothers are among my top favourite young actors, my sister bought me the Spooky
House DVD as a birthday present that same year (a few years ago now), and again I was not disappointed -
Matt's acting was outstanding! About two weeks later his TV Movie Trial
by Media was on and I won't easily forget his "I think
you're a great American, mom."... well I think you're a GREAT ACTOR,
Matt Weinberg! Then The O'Keefes aired, and again there was no question about what I would watch on Mondays in that time-slot, regardless of who or what was on the other channels. His ER guest appearance is one that you won't easily forget if you've ever seen it - everything about the way he portrays that role makes you feel sad for and with his character!
In the director's commentary
for The Hot Chick director Tom Brady said that Matt Weinberg was
probably the best actor in the movie, and I agree - he was very convincing
in that (as always) and his scenes were all really entertaining! I hope
to see a lot more of this great, magnificent, wonderful, talented, [more adjectives
here ] actor!!! It's easy to see why his little brother wanted to follow
in his footsteps - Matt makes acting look so easy and natural!
