Seth Adkins has been on the movie scene for about a decade now and during that time he has attracted many fans from around the world. Not surprising, since anyone who has seen any of his appearances will agree that even his minor roles, such as that in Titanic, makes a lasting impression... Whether you've seen Seth having onscreen seizures, being a scared little boy who helps solve his father's murder through a kind of "sixth sense" connection with him..., dealing with leg braces and angry mobsters, traveling to a world of looting and plundering to overcome some of his own fears, getting used to a very long nose and creaking limbs, (re)building a relationship with a mother he hasn't seen in many years and adjusting to living a normal family life again, protecting a very hairy secret agent, or realizing that bullying is hurtful and winning isn't everything... he seems to have done it all - without even mentioning any of his touching (no pun intended) television appearances! Seth makes even the not-so-possible seem very plausible with his wonderful expressions and excellent reactions, and so often he is the linchpin keeping everything else together! Many of his roles have been fairly difficult and yet he still manages to make acting look easy - a true sign of his talent and the fact that he is enjoying what he's doing. Of course that addictive laugh and big smile of his also suggest this to be the case :-) Apart from the really dramatic and sometimes heart-rending moments, his work is often fun (and funny) to watch, but you usually also find a very inspiring, heart-warming message somewhere between the opening scene and the end credits... something that you can (and will) take with you upon leaving the theatre or turning off the DVD player... I honestly can not remember ever seeing a Seth Adkins appearance which was not inspiring and totally believable! So much so that he actually pulls you into the story - an indication of just how captivating this young man's acting truly is!
